Consumer information

Various EU directives oblige shop operators to provide you, as a consumer (gn), with a wide variety of information on various factual topics. We try to present these here as comprehensively as possible and they generally refer to each individual offer in our shop.

1.: Batteries:

The purchase price for batteries and rechargeable batteries always includes the legally required environmental contribution. Some of our products are battery-operated and are supplied with an initial set of batteries ex works. The costs for the battery/batteries are then proportionally included in the purchase price of the product. The environmental contribution covers the costs for collection, recycling and information in accordance with Article 56 paragraph 4 of the Battery Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/1542) and currently amounts to an average of 0.55 Euro per kilogram.
