Determining the dimensions and selecting the basic model:
General:
Door frame height:
Our door frames are manufactured from a clear opening height of 1200mm.
Our door frames are manufactured up to a clear opening height of 2100mm.
Therefore, any dimension in between is possible.
Door frame width:
Our door frames are manufactured from a clear opening width of 470mm.
Our door frames are manufactured up to a clear opening width of 1200mm.
Therefore, any dimension in between is possible!
Only the clear opening width criterion determines the price, with price changes every 100mm, see details below.
The clear opening width is determined as follows:
Frame outer dimension:
The green arrows show the frame outer dimension.
Frame inner dimension:
The blue arrows show the frame inner dimension.
The formula is: Frame outer dimension minus left frame profile minus right frame profile = frame inner dimension.
Note: the profile can be 100mm or 60mm thick, so for the same clear opening width, the frame outer dimension can change, or, conversely, for the same frame outer dimension, a different clear opening width can result from a change in profile.
Clear opening width:
The red arrows show the clear opening width.
Only this measurement is relevant for the correct selection of the required door model.
The formula is: Frame inner dimension minus 100mm door thickness = clear opening width.
Often, for you as a user, the clear opening width is a more important measurement than the frame outer dimension, as this fundamentally determines the comfort of use. For this, the calculation is done backwards from the clear opening dimension, and the frame outer dimension is determined using the suitable frame profiles. In the mounting variants, which are mounted from the aisle side or the room side, the width of the wall opening can also be produced as the clear opening dimension.
